Aviv Barley
Study the condition of barley and whether sufficient suitable grain would be ready for the appointed firstfruits offering. This supplies the agricultural part of the proposed first-month test.
SCRIPTURE · OBSERVATION · THE CREATED ORDER
Read the Word. Watch the renewed Moon.
Observe the stars. Examine the witnesses.
A SCRIPTURE-GUIDED SKY STUDY IS COMING SOON
GENESIS 1:14 · PSALM 104:19 · JOB 38:31–33
Father's Calendar is being built to examine a proposed Sighted Moon, witnessed barley astronomical method (S1). Beginning with Scripture, the study follows reported crescent sightings, the condition of aviv barley, the stars rising at moonset, and the Moon's later passage through the heavens.
Our aim is to show the evidence and the reasoning: what Scripture says, what observers report, what Stellarium calculates, and what the proposed correspondence would mean.
THE S1 OBSERVATIONAL METHOD
Three connected elements, examined within a continuous sequence of lunar months.
Study the condition of barley and whether sufficient suitable grain would be ready for the appointed firstfruits offering. This supplies the agricultural part of the proposed first-month test.
An accepted sighting of the renewed crescent opens the month. As it sets in the west, turn to the east and record the stars first rising into view.
Compare the eastern rising pattern with the Moon's later constellation position. The Lion–Bethulah transition is examined in the proposed 13th-month test.
AN INTERACTIVE TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Start with the passage. Follow an opening evening. Watch the sky. Compare the evidence.
Psalm 104:19 · Genesis 1:14
The moon is appointed for seasons; the heavenly lights are given for signs, appointed times, days, and years.
The S1 method begins a month with an accepted sighting of the renewed crescent. An astronomical prediction, an actual sighting, and an accepted calendar opening are different kinds of evidence.
We're developing Scripture-linked Stellarium demonstrations that preserve a view's date, place, direction, time, and sky settings. Visitors will be able to reproduce a scene instead of merely accepting a screenshot.
Try our self-hosted Stellarium Sky Lab. It is an engineering preview—not yet a verified S1 lesson or calendar determination.
